ithaca

cornell university

whenever cornell university comes up, no one ever talks about how beautiful it is. all i hear is how cold, or isolated, or suicidal it is. but if it were closer, it'd be a day-trip here, a day-trip there..

atrium cornell law library

maybe it's because i went to a public university, founded in the '60s, where gray eucalyptus trees are everywhere, and construction eats up every inch of green lawn, and the architecture is completely eclectic and modern..

cornell law school

but damn, hogwarts anyone?

clock tower in spring clock tower

i suppose i was biased by the weather, but to be honest it did snow the night before. i was just indoors.. in my hotel bed.. watching grey's anatomy with the heater on blast.

new york law

here's to global warming and keeping it spring-time all year round in ithaca for the next three years..

college papers

colors
i was spring cleaning over the weekend and decided it was time to chuck my college papers. it'd been 2 years (!!) since i've been out and i realized there was no point in keeping old midterms, papers, & notes.

i took quite a handful of subjects..
supply & demand quotas
econ, which was actually quite useful.

heart bio
biology, though i'm wondering why the heck there's so many hearts, science is not exactly my favorite..

psych & the brain
and of course, psychology.

i was required to take a 2-year writing program, thanks eleanor roosevelt college! it was a pain in the butt, but i'm actually quite proud of some of my research papers that came out of that program. i always picked pretty interesting topics.

mmw3
like sex,

mmw5
drugs,

mmw6
and rock&roll.
jk, this one was about homosexuality during the third reich.

highlighter checklist
i discovered my obsession with highlighters (really, i had no idea).

blue books
even though i did well in school and liked most of my classes (yeah, big nerd here), one thing i'm glad about is i won't ever be filling out one of these again.
